Public square - Houston

L'ALTRA PIETRA is the new thick paving chosen for the Barbara Bush Literacy Square in Houston designed by architects Lauren Griffith Associates. This 0.75-acre plaza, between the Julia Ideson building and the Jesse Jones (Central Library) building, is a hugely significant part of downtown Houston's open space network because it serves as a hub between Sam Houston Park and Hermann Square. The selected material is super resistant and has been designed to last over time even after heavy loads and repeated trampling.
